Steven F Munoz is an American Rapper & Producer of Colombian Descent, better known by his stage name LO5TAR aka Lo.

Early life:

Steven F Munoz, the oldest of three siblings was born in Miami, Florida, where he was raised by his single mother Aleida Salas.

Munoz started rapping in his first year of middle school and began making beats in his mother's unused walk in closet, spending his youth creating beats & freestylinig on them to better understand the concept of creating songs. Munoz since an early age understood the hardships of coming from the bottom and that ultimately led him and his friends to call him LO5TAR as a way to say your the closest to shine amongst the few stars we can see.

Munoz dropped out his sophmore year and began a life supporting his mother by taking care of his youngest sister while she worked long hours into the night. Talking about his upbringing, Munoz confessed that he was given two options "sell drugs like many others or become an artist in music " ultimately this led to Munoz decision to lead a life away from the criminal aspect that influenced many in the city of Kendall.

Early Career:

In 2012 Munoz broke free into the scene of music by promoting himself through acts of good faith that paid off when he was noticed by the former director of power 96 which led to his discovery as beat maker, paving the way for Munoz and his iconic moment of triumph when he found out his newly aquired internship would have him mentored by the great Lu Diaz & Ben Billiions.

Fast forward towards the end of 2013 and preplex Productions asked Munoz to start Re editing the hit songs:

"Bitch Dont Killl My Vibe" By Kendrick Lamar,

"Diced Pineapples" By Rick Ross,

"Im Different" By 2Chainz,

These three Remixes became published on all major hiphop portals, being an incredible shift in creativity by incorporating the official artists live performance into an official music video view of Kendrick Lamar, 2chainz and RickRoss on a LO5TAR Beat.

JustBlaze produced a beat and Lo5tar recorded his rap vocals over it, this song reached number 33, placing him in the top 100 rappers across the nation and solidifying his relationship further with his die hard fans that made it possible through voting.

The biggest milestone for LO5TAR seems to be his recipe of unexpected success as Producer turned Anti Rap God, as he does not willingly accept any rigid rule in genres, Constantly searching and letting go of unneccesary obstacles, he delivers unfiltered raw material at all possible moments of inspiration being a true artist hell bent on free form creativity.
